PAS picks up police maintenance contract in Kuwait

Police Aviation Services which already provides extensive support to the UK police has been successful in taking on another contract in the Gulf Region.

The company has recently been awarded the Police Air Wing engineering contract for the Ministry of Interior in Kuwait.  The Air Wing operates two EC 135 and two AS 365 Dauphins on a round-the-clock basis out of Kuwait City.

The new contract which will last for four years involves a significant number of staff providing a full range of maintenance, logistics and technical services.

Managing Director, Henk Schaeken said "We are very pleased to be able to build on the existing work we've been doing out here and increase our prescence in the region even further."

PAS already provides pilotage and training in Kuwait and is involved in several aircraft modification programmes in the Gulf Region.
